Remembrance day is a day to remember those who have sacrificed their lives for Canada. In remembering the fallen we Canadians wear a red poppy on the left lapel (the left side of your chest) to show our support. Many Canadians have experienced the pleasure of pinning their poppy on, but the disappointment when realizing that the poppy has fallen off.
Our staff at Bright Immigration experienced the same, so we wanted to solve it. Here are the solutions that we found on how not to lose a poppy:
1- Weave the poppy through your clothing and OUT of the poppy pedal. Here are pictures of the 3-steps to do this:

2- Cap the poppy with the back of an eraser or the back of an earring.

3- Bend the pin towards you to keep the pin place (pliers will be required)
We would like to remind everyone in Canada, whether a citizen or a visitor, please support Remembrance Day and let’s wear a poppy. Lest We Forget.
